How does Telecard Brasil work?
You will receive an account by following the simple steps:
- Purchase a calling card by clicking on the appropriate card.
- Set up your account by entering your email address and quantity of card(s).
- If you are a first time buyer, an email will be sent to you to verify your email address.
- After your email address is verified, you will be directed to the TeleCard Brasil check out page to complete your transaction using Google checkout.
- After successfully checking out, you will be emailed your PIN(s), user name and account password.
- When you use the Local Access Number or 800 number provided in the email or available on the website, you will be prompted to enter an authorization code which is a PIN.
- After entering a PIN, then you will be prompted to enter destination phone number.
- Destination phone numbers are as follows:
- International: 011 + Country Code + City Code + Number
- Domestic calls including Caribbean: 1 + Area Code + Number
For PIN less dialing:
- Log in to your account.
- Under the PINLess Calling Phone Numbers feature on My Account, you can add the number you are calling from for PIN less dialing.
- You can add multiple numbers in the field by using a comma to separate the numbers with no spaces. Example: 907-555-1212,907-555-1213.
- YOU MUST NOT BLOCK CALLER ID ON YOUR PHONE for this to work. If you have Caller ID blocking on your phone, Dial *82 before dialing the access
number to temporarily unblock Caller ID.
Can I use my TeleCard Brasil calling card from any phone?
Yes, from any touch-tone phone.
Can I make TeleCard Brasil calls with my cell phone?
Are the rates higher if I call to a cellular phone?
In most cases yes, please review rates for accurate cellular phone cost.
Do I need a local access number?
Yes, Local Access Numbers give you the most amount of minutes. Using the 800 numbers cost more.
Are there any additional charges?
No, not for Local Access calling, however, additional charges may apply. See rate disclosure for complete explanation.
Can I make TeleCard Brasil calls right away?
Yes, as soon as you have the PIN number(s), you should be able to make calls. On rare occasions, it may take up to 10 minutes for the PIN(s) to be activated.
Can I use TeleCard Brasil to make calls while I am outside of the US?
Not at this time, however, we will be offering access from certain countries in the near future.
What is the TeleCard Brasil's satisfaction guarantee?
TeleCard Brasil has a customer satisfaction guarantee based on actual calling issues. We strive and work hard to make sure every customer is satisfied.

Can TeleCard Brasil be used for faxing?
Can I use my relative's credit card to purchase a TeleCard Brasil calling card?
Yes, we verify all credit cards by billing address.
How do I retrieve my Account Name, PIN(s) or Password?
Your account name is the email address. Log In to your account to retrieve PIN(s). To retrieve a lost or forgotten password, click on the Password Recovery button at the top of the screen. You will be emailed a link to allow you to see your password.
